Last Sunday I missed my train and had to wait 25 minutes at the railway station of Thalwil. Although I initially was annoyed by it, my mood immediately improved when I discovered the historic Sihltalbahn train on one of the tracks!
There is always a sense of excitement around these trains. The volunteers who operate the train are always in a great mood because they have an opportunity to play with their treasured toys, and the passengers always thoroughly enjoy these special rides as well.
Fortunately, I had my Fujifilm X-T2 camera with the versatile Fujinon 18-135 3.5-5-6 with me, so I could record this chance encounter for my blog.
