Being born in the Hague, it is clear where my loyalties lie. Having said that, I recently visited Rotterdam, and was pleasantly surprised. The city oozed a great entrepreneurial spirit and confident non-nonsense attitude. I also loved the architecture around the Erasmus Bridge, some of it I had never seen before.
