Hiking in the Jura (CH) – Belchenflue

The Jura is one of my favorite hiking destinations. The scenery is varied: bare (white) rocks, beautiful woods, and everything in between. This time I walked 17.1 km from Olten (396m) to Hägendorf (428m) via the Belchenflue (1099m).

The final stretch was the Teufelschlucht (‘Devil’s Gorge’). An impressive gorge – if only due to the warnings about falling rocks and the ‘own risk’ statements.
